Lonesome Dove

This Mini-Series was the first major project edited electronically using a non linear editing system at The Film Unit of The Post Group. Larry Sherwood was the Electronic Post Supervisor for this project. Working on location in Austin, Del Rio and Angel Fire, Larry oversaw the editorial process and participated in the editing and assistant editing phases of this project through the final negative cut. This was an Emmy nominated mini-series for best editing and holds a very special place in Larry's heart. This project introduced him to Austin, Texas where he met his wife, Debbie, and he found an environment where he could raise his family, taking advantage of a tremendously creative atmosphere to do the video work he loves.
